How brave they must have felt...

...being able to stand alone and pursue their beliefs without any peer validation, like that. That must take some balls, I think. I mean, anybody can resort to the lynch-mob mentality - it's hard to resist, for some. But for each to decide, completely in isolation from all influence, that that old man was a menace, deserving of torment, and then to face him and tell him what it was that they believed entitled them to do that... Yes: real balls.

Do you know what he'd done to deserve that? He was vulnerable, and when one is strong, one punishes the vulnerable. Because that's what monkeys do. And let's not pretend that state-sponsored torturers are morally superior, eh?.. So many applicants for the Gob Job, which in and of itself disqualifies them. According to Plato's test, anyway.
